B is for Big

Brooke is now 3 months old and lately we have been noticing just how big she is. We have a neighbor with a six week old and Brooke feels like she weighs twice as much as her. Another neighbor has a six month old girl and everyone agrees that Brooke is the same size as her. The sad part is that we have to say good-bye to many of Brooke's cutest clothes. She has grown out of all her one-piece 3 month outfits. (Thankfully, she still fits in the two piece ones.) She is wearing lots of 3-6 and 6 month outfits now.

So, for Brooke's 3 month birthday (on the 17th), I cut out one of her feedings. This didn't seem to affect her much and actually got us onto a better napping schedule of two 2-2 1/2 hour naps each day. In return, Brooke has cut out her night feeding (at least for the last two nights). Now she is down from six feedings a day to four and sleeps from 8pm to 8am. Hope we can keep this up!
