Greats

Last weekend, Bryan and I loaded Brooke in the car and drove up to Port Townsend, WA to my grandad's house. It was a beautiful day, which meant we had great views of the newly snow-covered Olympics as we crossed the Hood Canal Bridge. Brooke got to meet her great-grandpa Proffitt and step great-grandma and great-Aunt Carolynn. But the best part of the day for Brooke was the opportunity to watch a ceiling fan. Who knew that was all it would take to get her to stop crying and start smiling?

I knew - the ceiling fan was one of Megan's favorite forms of entertainment. Since then, I have seen many a baby take a fancy to similar ceiling fixtures.
