Working hard or hardly working?

Bryan and one of his LT's.

Brooke and I had a great Easter. We went to church in the morning with Jennifer and Zoe Marsh. Zoe's Sunday school class sang two songs on stage. Then we had Easter brunch with four families in our neighborhood with Easter egg hunts for each age group of kids. Once Brooke discovered there was candy in her eggs, she had no interest in collecting any more...she just wanted to eat candy!
Finally, a photo of Bryan that meets the OPSEC (Operations Security) guidelines.
Yes, it's a Pizza Hut that he is sitting in front of. Most of the FOBs (Forward Operating Bases) have a host of fast food chains - some even have Starbucks!
Speaking of Bryan, he will be home for R&R in mid-April. We are looking forward to the time together and for Brooke to get to know her daddy again. When Bryan left last June, she wasn't even crawling! He is coming home to a different little girl.
Brooke and I spent the first ten days of March in Atlanta visiting Bryan's family. It was great to see all the in-laws and especially nice for me to have babysitters to take some munch-needed time off!

Brooke and her grandma got a chance to model their Harley clothing:

And had fun trying on grandpa's boots:

Mostly, we just enjoyed spending time outdoors in the sunshine. I forgot how nice the sun is!

Brooke has entered the dreaded mullet days. While her hair grows out, I am trying to cover the mullet with ponytails.

Sometimes, I'm not sure which looks worse:

Brooke will be getting a haircut when Bryan comes home in April.
